pc群Smart Home Technology is an AMAZING, and it just keeps getting better all the time.
pc群My Aunt Katie recently got a new car. A 2017 Kia Soul–she is amazed with all the cool things it can do. She doesn’t even need a key to start it any more. You just push a button and you’re on your way. You don’t need a key to lock or unlock your doors anymore, either.
When it gets dark, the lights go on automatically. You don’t have to worry about leaving the lights on and killing the battery. When you put the car in reverse, you have a camera that shows what’s going on behind from a dash mounted 8” touchscreen, and maybe a beeping noise to tell you if you’re about to hit something.
The Kia comes with sensors that let you know when you’re getting too close to something in front of you or when you are drifting to another lane without meaning to.
While you’re driving you can push a button on your steering wheel to answer your phone or switch radio stations—satellite radio, most likely. You can even charge your phone wirelessly in your car!
BEST OF ALL the car has a button called record and it saves all of your settings so next time you get in the car sets the seats where you want them, sets the temperature, music, mirrors , everything to your preference…
Does your home do that?
Now let’s take a look at your fitness tracker. For the most part, you probably wear it around your wrist, like a watch. This little device can tell you how many steps you take, what your heart rate is, how much exercise you have done throughout a day, and how much sleep you get each night. It can even remind you to get up and move at set times. If you sync it with your smart phone, it will also tell you when someone is calling you or sending a text message, and when an event on your calendar is near.
